The Child First Aid (CFA) Course is a 2-day blended learning course designed for individuals responsible for the care and education of children. This course includes e-learning on Day 1, followed by a classroom-based practical session on Day 2. Accredited by the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) and recognized by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA), this course provides essential first aid skills to effectively manage child-related emergencies.

It is ideal for child care providers, teachers, and caregivers, equipping you with critical life-saving techniques such as CPR, AED use, choking management, and handling common childhood injuries. This certification is recognized within the child care sector, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

First Aid Requirements for Childcare Centers
  • Certification Requirement: For childcare center staff, the Principal/Key Personnel and at least two other program staff must hold a valid Child First Aid (CFA) certification accredited by SRFAC.
  • Staffing Ratios: For centers caring for more than 150 children, an additional staff member with valid CFA certification is required for every additional 50 children or part thereof.
